March 6 Today's our coldest day of the Winter here in Portland with the wind chill making it feel 23 below zero. Brrrrrrrrrrrrr! I froze on my walk with the pups & when I got home I knew I wanted to escape into a painting. I grabbed a photo from our trip to Venice off the fridge & did these 2 paintings of the Venice Skyline focusing on color. And a magical escape it was! SOLD
