Oct 6 We went out to dinner last night with some new friends & started talking about Halloween! I love Halloween & couldn't wait to paint some lit pumpkins. A few years back Portland had a contest to see how many lit pumpkins we could get in one place & I think we had 6 or 7,000 lining one of our Parks--it was INCREDIBLE! WOW! Sadly, I struggled immensely to take pictures of these paintings--my camera doesn't like blacks & darks in general ... I may have to try again tomorrow, but for now here they are, & know that the jack-o-lanterns are much cuter & spookier in person! SOLD
