Nov 18 I had been out painting on Friday & then stopped to say hi to my brother. It had been a mild but dreary day and as I drove back to the East End I saw a break in the clouds. When I pulled up to the studio to post Friday's paintings, I couldn't believe the sunset glow over the neighborhood after a day of drizzle. It was gorgeous with my favorite Portland landmark, the Portland Observatory, outlined against the colorful sky--so striking. SOLD
