Sept 4 4 Today I participated in the Labor Day Art Sale at Fort Williams, sponsored by the Cape Elizabeth Fire Department--the event was supposed to be yesterday, but because of the iffy weather it was postponed until today & it worked out great! We set up my booth around 9am & lucky for us there were a few artists across the way who didn't show up, leaving us with a spectacular view of Casco Bay and 2 forts: Fort Gorges & Fort Scammel! And the clouds were amazing ... they looked pretty threatening on & off all day, but we managed not to get rained on. I did these paintings while sitting in my booth ... good times! :-) SOLD
