Sept 16 We ended our drive down the Park Loop with a visit to Jordan Pond ... what a lovely spot with the unusual backdrop of the Bubble Mountains. Mount Desert Island & Acadia National Park is such a special place, and to have it be so close is a real thrill. We took a long walk around the Bubbles while touring Eagle Pond--they are so dramatic! SOLD
