Sep 22 Last week while I was at Acadia with my brother we took a long stroll around Eagle Lake on one of the Carriage Roads. What a beautiful lake & walk ... if only swimming in the lake were permitted! It was my first time on the Carriage Roads & they were INCREDIBLE! They make for a biker's & horse back rider's paradise with over 50 miles of 16 foot wide paths through the woods & around the lakes & ponds. SOLD
