Sept 25 Yesterday I went apple picking at Randall's Apple Orchard in Standish with some friends. I don't know that I had ever been apple picking before ... & it was so fun! There were several different varieties there & ALL were delicious. We did an apple tasting of sorts & it was neat to compare the different apples. As you can see from my painting of one of the apple trees, there was no shortage of apples & we picked a lot in a short amount of time. After picking we made an afternoon of baking ... yummmmmm! There were apple crisps, apple bread, apple scones, apple cake ... sooooo gooood! SOLD
