April 3 The rain has me feeling really tired today ... I need another burst of sunshine to energize me. I tried to feel the warmth as I painted the sunrise behind the Portland Head Light ... I guess I felt it briefly, but not enough to get me going strong. Now that I think about it, this is really a kind of self portrait ... me, the lighthouse, dark & tired, slowly being warmed by the sun & hopeful for a bright day. :-)
