April 6 I sat down on a little bench near my 11 year old sleeping lab to paint & he didn't budge once ... he makes a super subject matter while dozing. The amazing thing about Napoleon is that he is great at everything he does ... he's a great sleeper, napper, eater, begger, pooper, walker (although he is pretty arthritic), cat chaser, and scavenger (you should see the stuff he finds on the streets). What amazes me the most about this sweet old lab is the exuberance & love of life that he begins each day with at 5am on the dot! I do wish I could control his inner clock, but aside form that, he's perfect!
