Feb 22 I had an inspiring visit with a friend this morning in her incredible loft/studio in Saco ... it was thrilling to see a large body of her beautiful work, many of the scenes so familiar to me & just to take in her space. It was just starting to snow when I left there & I decided to drive home along route 1. I stopped along the Scarborough marsh to enjoy the peaceful snowfall. Here's a painting of a still & quiet moment in snowfall on the marsh.
