March 2 The kitchen counter called to me this morning ... the coffee pot is on, the spoon is waiting to stir, the sink is empty & 3 woodblock prints glow under the above the sink light. Ahhhhhhhhhhh, a morning household still life. Can you feel the quiet in the kitchen & smell the fresh ground coffee?
