Dec 9 I hadn't planned on painting a sunrie painting today, but after I poured my coffee & headed upstairs to my painting room, the sky out my windows was on fire! WOW! I dropped everything & got bundled up & ran down to the Eastern Prom to take in the incredible pre-sunrise glow! Winter sunrises are so colorful and dramatic--it's unbelievable, really. And now, as I sit here & type & look out the window, you never would guess that the today's sunrise would have been so spectacular, as it's overcast.
