September 1 I got up at 5 to walk the pups ... my brother's dog is staying with us this weekend, so the 3 pooches were wired & ready to go even though it was pitch black out. Pooper scooping in the dark is a challenge ... I needed a flashlight on my leash or something. Anyways, we walked along the prom & the sky was exquisite. I just walked & stared at the colors of the water & sky ... and there above the Casco Bay Islands was Mars, the only twinkle in the sky. What a serene start to the day--I needed that too, because things are a little hectic. We are moving into the house where my studio is & after 5 years in our current home, we have accumulated quite a bit of stuff! SOLD
