September 15 The past few days have been chaotic to say the least! We moved out of our house of 5 years, closed on it yesterday & are temporarily settled into my studio (with 5 pets) while our new space has some work done on it ... and I set up for the CRAFT SHOW that will take place today & tomorrow at the East End School (Sat 10-5 & Sun 10-4). WOWSER! I got back into the studio this morning & did this piece of the Portland Observatory as seen on my early morning dog walk today in the rain--this painting will go into a silent auction for CREATE OUT at the Observatory today from 3:30-5pm during MUNJFEST (rain date tomorrow). TONIGHT: Come to the North Star Cafe (bottom of Congress across from East End Cemetery) for the opening reception of "Beyond the Gates: Art inspired by the East End Cemetery" from 5:30-7pm. My daily painting schedule should resume tomorrow! :-) Thanks for understanding!
