Jan 17 I sat down at my table in my studio this morning & the sunlight was hitting the rooftop of the house next door. The incredible light & great architectural lines, combined with inspiration from Cooper Dragonette's recent rooftop paintings of Portland & a beautiful snowy rooftop card I got from artist Barabar Loring yesterday, called me paint this view I look out on EVERY single day from my second floor painting room.
