This painting of the woods is inspired by my
recent trip to Borestone Mountain where I went on
a couple of early morning hikes to an overlook,
hoping to spot a moose down below. I didn’t see a
moose, but the sounds of the birds & the
stillness of everything around me was
breathtaking! The quiet of the woods is so
beautiful & to walk on soft, cushy floor of
the woods is so healing. I hope that you can feel
a little bit of the magic through this
painting.

bright sunny morning last week. When I got to the
top I just wanted to hang out & paint! Here’s
the view I got lost in.

Cloudy Morning on the Peregrine Cliffs • 5x5 • oil on canvas • $75
I was back at Borestone Mountain last week &
it was as magical as ever. I just love that
place. I did this painting perched on the edge of
the Peregrine Cliffs looking over to Borestone.
The clouds were hanging low & floating over
the summit of the mountain ... what a quiet &
peaceful setting to paint in.
