BUSY WEEK
Hi there! I just thought I’d fill you in
on what has been keeping me out of the studio
over the past week. With Summer in FULL swing,
life has been busy! We enjoyed a getaway to the
Camden/Rockland area last week which included 3
nights of camping at Camden Hills State Park, a
day trip with bikes to Vinalhaven (an island 12
miles off the coast), a visit with friends &
a raw food cooking class with Matthew Kenney at
Lincolnville’s Cellardoor Winery. What a GREAT
time we had all around!
When I got back, I had the pleasure of being a
judge at the Munjfest Dog Show! ALL of the pups
were stunning & so talented ... it was so
hard to pick winners for the different
categories. WOOF! WOOF!
My dad & his dog, Boxy also came to visit
from Vermont for a couple of days! We had some
great family time & meals together which is
always lots of fun.
And then my raw food business
Girl Gone Raw
has kept me VERY busy too: I have had
a couple of one-on-one classes, a few grocery
store orientations & then 2 Alissa Cohen
Level I classes. YEAH! I really enjoy sharing
raw food with folks--it makes me so happy to
see people light up when they see how simple
& delicious the food is!
So, that’s my week in a nutshell! I hope to get
some regular time in the studio again over the
next week--so stay tuned for some new paintings.
